艺术家自我介绍：
他成长于德国纽伦堡，深受丢勒的作品的影响。对丢勒绘画上的完美表现的钦佩使得Felix Pensel致力于找到自己的绘画风格。
在他在画布上用颜色表达他的感受之前，Felix在涂鸦上投入过了许多时间。涂鸦的早期影响在后来以抽象的字体形式般的表达展现出来，并通过学习各种印刷技术，经过媒体设计的培训以及侧重于插图和新媒体的设计研究，发展出了自己的风格。

Growing up in Nuremberg, Germany, Felix was influenced by Dürer's work. Admiration for his perfection in drawing gave him the drive to develop a clean drawing style.
In his youth he spent most of his time doing graffiti until he expressed his feelings through colors on canvas.
The early influence of graffiti later manifested in an abstract, typographic form of expression and developed into a style of its own through learning various printing techniques, training as a media designer and design studies with focus on illustration and new media.
Due to cosmological and physical interests, there was always a tendency to split shapes into fragments in order to represent the view into the innermost of our matter.
Nowadays his works include paintings, drawings, sculptures, installation, digital media and sound in various sizes. He combines different media in his exhibitions to give the visitor the biggest emotional stimulation possible to create an overwhelming feeling of enjoyment that feeds the inner joy of discovery which enables the explorer to interact with the artwork and its contexts. He likes to interact with the observer, but in a ambiguous manner to leave space for interpretation.
His drawings for example are treasure map-like, multi-dimensional and they awake the spirit of discovery in which the viewer loses himself. Exploring his black and white works is kind of an adventuress the works are made out of thousands of little drawings, patterns and writings, creating a world full of details and magic. Whereas his paintings are multilayered and try to find a way between the abstract and figurative. He often uses high contrasts to achieve a sense of volume in modelling three-dimensional objects and figures. The paintings appear a bit constructed just like the world they come from.
Pensel’s works are always on the edge of realities, truths and possibilities. The focus is often on the gloomy, colorful commotion and zeitgeist of the 21st century - the change of a world. The work searches for truth, asks questions, motivates, wants to find answers and makes an easy passing by impossible. The paintings are deliberately interpretable, ambiguously and play with the viewer's desires, longings and fears.

《The fifth traveler and the birth of change》
The topic of this painting is the energy transition to create a healthier planet. We are stuck in using bad energy, but we know that it is possible to make this change. The person that dominates the painting with his threatening pose, entangled in a chain of lights, evokes a feeling of deterrence, whereas the dog is cute, seems to be friendly and is glowing so beautifully.
But the truth is that the dog is made from uranium glas and the chain of light, representing green energy in form of LEDs, is the birthplace of the larva of change.
As having a dragonfly land on your head is considered good luck and seeing swarms of dragonflies mean rain is on the way, I think there is still hope to manage this task of transformation.
In almost every part of the world, the Dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability, and self-realization. The change that is often referred to has its source in mental and emotional maturity and understanding the deeper meaning of life. Maybe we have to understand the system we‘ve build in the same deep way. We have to understand why we shouldn‘t passionately self-exploit our presence in order to act as a functional part in society.

《The creation of light》
Pictured is a futuristic utopia scenery of an energy harvesting planet. A space in time where humanity is able to directly transfer light into consumable energy.
No need for animals or even plants in the supply chain. Energy coming from the floor can be transformed into everything by your conscious mind. Artificial quantum consciousness and the implementation of controlled intelligence into human DNA creates, like plants, chemical energy in form of light.
You think it‘s life, but it‘s just light. Everything we know is only possible because there is electromagnetic radiation.
New beginning, Spring awakening, love, life and luck are not only popular topics in the art history and religion they are also just a few of the endless amazing things of the world we live in.

《The great will with the numb desire》
The painting asks many questions. A big man is standing in a cactus field, blinded and distracted by a transparent character sitting on his shoulder. While running through thornes, destroying a peaceful place that‘s sinking in smoke, he continues to focus on a white ball. The white circle could be a ball, symbolising mental balance or the power he tries to get. Is he blinded? Or driven by love? Trying to take down the moon for his beloved one whatever it takes?
However, it shows that the human being is not always able to do “the right thing”, because it is not possible to see the bigger picture anymore. The brain is flooded by information at the highest speed ever and toxicated on the highest level ever. So what do we actually need in order to get the reliable information? How should humanity survive on a long term if we devour each other and ourselves?

《With full karacho into center shock》
The composition shows a world of thought that creates a utopian yet disturbing space between darkness and color, figurative and abstract. A stage for the thoughts of the viewers who create stories, detached, out of touch and sometimes remote. The protagonists are in the twilight of a self-defined society and can cause a feeling of isolation in world affairs. At the same time, the world that surrounds them creates a glimpse of hope from the possibilities that are offered to them - another world, apart from social rules and expectations.
The neon-like color choice creates a feeling of supernaturalness and orderliness that is underlined by the constructed composition. Mechanisms of power permeate the whole of the social body as a being, which runs through the picture as a blue dust and contrasts itself with its social relationships and concepts.

《Gucci, Balenciaga brother wallah》
The painting shows a person in modern clothes surrounded by disruptive layers of paint, forming a jungle-like atmosphere. It looks like the person is kind of lost somewhere between reality and imagination. The abstract and figurative languages building a high contrast that seems to separate the man from the rest of the painting, the wild and yet misunderstood universe of energy. Only the bag seems to carry something that corresponds the the surrounding as its language is abstract as well. What could it be? The floor, symbolizing the base of being, seems to float away while the tiger on the shirt wants to jump out of the capitalistic world, where he is trapped in. He wants to jump back into his natural habitat that looks like it's dissolving.

《I want my peace of mind when shopping in plastic city》
Sometimes when I go to the supermarket, I feel really sad because of all the plastic that is literally everywhere. Then I leave the store with just a few bananas or even nothing and I feel like my hands are kind of tied up. That really sucks up all my energy for a moment. Even if it is a sunny day it feels if it is a pastel and greyish sky that is pushing me down like a burden on my shoulders. Deep into the ground I sink. Further and further into the swamp of influencelessness.

The viewer is getting attached by the portrait as the blue eyes are looking straight to the observer. It feels a bit of being watched by an unknown identity as he has no mouth. We all know it from seeing people wearing masks all the time nowadays. It feels uncomfortable. It feels strange to hide the own identity in such a way. The blue shining face builds its high contrast on the dark surface. The interpreter could think it represents the cold, the lie, the drunkenness of the inner values. Or it is considered as the harmony, the happiness, the peace, the infinity of keeping the own identity for oneself, or even both? The blonde hair reminds of a light or a halo around the head of a divine person or a saint. The composition looks a bit artificial in a sense of unreal, what could give the painting a touch of distance to the viewer? Or does it intend the opposite? It attracts because of its ambiguity and relaxed aura. Mind, body, breath and spirit in perfect balance. What would he say? It feels like a controlled pattern of speed. A short frozen moment. A painting of a spirit in space time painted from a spirit in space time for spirits in space time.

《On the way to Belvedere》
Frozen in the midst of the hustle and bustle, she stands with her umbrella. She looks questioningly and lights guide her way. She protects herself, her calm and inner peace from the raging weather. The use of dark colors and blue makes the mood gloomy, cold and stormy, but the bright colors add a veil of magic and dreamery. The person who feels lost is brought into focus and only interacts subtle with the environment through the chasing animal on the leash. It shows a confused and at the same time opportunity-rich world that encourages and overwhelms at the same time. She is looking at you and is whispering friendly: “What are your dreams?”

Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep moving forward, and savoring the journey. If happiness is a direction and not a place, it’s a state of mind. It’s step by step - a aim for the sky. But move slowly, enjoying every step along the way. It is all those little steps that make the journey complete. The journey is the reward. Stay patient and trust the universe. Life is a journey, travel it well and forget the destination while enjoying the details. It’s all about the details. If you fall in love with the journey, you will be in love forever. Let your mind start in a strange new world. Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before. Let your soul take you where you belong to be. Close your eyes let your spirit start to soar, and you’ll live as you’ve never lived before.
