Tian Canghai, famous water color artist, was born in 1940, Guangzhou, graduate from Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He has attended the revolutionary history oil painting “Memorial of Former Site of Mao Zedong hosted National Institute of Peasant Movement”. Later he migrated to Hong Kong, held the post of the chairman of Hong Kong Artists League and curator of Chinese Museum of Arts.
