2012 Award Ceremony
The 15th Beijing International Art Exposition was held successfully in China World Trade Center from August 16, to August 20, 2012. More than 5000 art works of 90 excellent galleries from over 16 countries and areas were exhibited. On August 15, artists, art lovers, art collectors and media workers, etc. were gathered in the preview cocktail party and shared the great feast.
During the 5 days’ exhibition, thousands of customers visited each day. Taiwan Licence Gallery, Min Dian Gallery, 99°C Art Center, Hang Shiang Gallery, Lizzy Forrester, Denis Ribas, Jean Michel and almost 20 art agencies’ spot volume reached millions yuan. Meanwhile, many art agencies built cooperation relationship with art collectors, the spot volume was over 20 millions.
From the art committee’s judge, the art exposition selected Shi Qi, Zhang Xiangde, Cui Mingzhi (Korea), Wang Kaifang and Hong Yi (Taiwan) as the “Top Influential Artists”, at the same time, Licence Gallery (Taiwan), The Academy of Ocean Shell-Porcelain Arts of China, DARA Gallery (Ukraine), Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts (Bangladesh), Xi’an Bao Li Art Investment Management Co.Ltd were awarded “Top Influential Galleries”. Those top influential artists own constantly enterprising spirit of innovation and dedication, they keep improve their technique and enriched the contemporary arts. Top influential galleries had clear market position, art values and art quality standards; they made outstanding contributions to the flourish and development of the art markets.
